Jay Jay’s Good Food Truck
Have you seen Jay Jay’s Good Food Truck?
Jay Jay’s is the newest venture for our chef/owner Jason McConnell. This truck has a full mobile kitchen with everything that you would find in a typically restaurant kitchen – ovens, flat top, stove, sinks, fryers, coolers, etc. Our kitchen on wheels makes it possible to bring the freshest and tastiest foods to your event no matter the location.
Not only is Jay Jay’s great for catering events we are serving out of it at different venues during lunch and late night. If you have a spot you would like to see us contact us for more information.
Caymus Collection Wine Dinner
Everyone had a great time last week at the Wine Down Main Street Caymus Collection Wine Dinner at Hallmark Volkswagon. We used our catering truck to produce this delicious 5 course meal – we really can bring our food anywhere, kitchen or no kitchen.

Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration 2009
Red Pony Catering recently spent eleven days catering at the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration in Shelbyville TN. We packed up our gear and headed an hour south to Shelbyville for the event with our new catering truck. There are many food vendors at the Celebration but Red Pony had the honor of catering in the Blue Ribbon Circle Club, where guests purchased tickets to enjoy a/c, cocktails, and delicious food.
Nightly deli tray, fruit & cheese, and dessert table.
The menu changed daily with themed nights — Asian, Prime Rib, Red Pony, Southern, Seafood, Etc. These themes would also be great as stations for a wedding or holiday party.

Serving 4,700 people over the eleven days was a blast and we look forward to the opportunity again next year.
Opus One Dinner
Red Pony Catering is getting ready for Wine Down Main Street’s vintner’s dinner in October and though we would take a look back on last year’s event. The 2008 event with Opus One was a huge success and we look forward to another great year with the Caymus Collection.

Elegance Bridal Gala
Elegance Bridal Gala in Mt. Juliet is just a week away. If you are getting married or no someone who is this is a one of a kind event to experience what all the vendors have to offer. Red Pony Catering will have an appetizer display so you can taste some of the yummy options we have. There are some other awesome vendors and it should be a blast!
Have a Picnic
It’s July in Tennessee and the weather, well let’s just say it’s been amazing! There are so many great outside activities in Middle Tennessee but one place we would make sure you put on the calendar is a visit to Arrington Vineyards. With the gorgeous views, super friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, and yummy wines there is so much to enjoy. In order to make your visit to Arrington Vineyards even more enjoyable Red Pony Catering has partnered with the vineyard to offer picnics for guests. The picnices are available for 2-12 and are delivered to the vineyard with cutlery, napkins, tablecloth, plates, and glasses. We request a 48 hour notice for orders.

All vendors are showcasing their products by allowing you to participate/enjoy/try-out what they have to offer. Red Pony Catering will be offering an appetizer buffet, so bring your appetite.

This is exactly what we do at Red Pony Catering – we make the menu specially for you and your event. Of course we have our specialties but our real specialty is food. Our talented chefs can accomplish anything from a casual shrimp boil to a five course wine dinner.
If you don’t like onions - we leave them out
Allergic to gluten – we make it gluten free
Vegetarian/vegan – we forgo the meat
Love artichokes – we use them
Prefer healthier choices – we skip the deep fried and focus on fruits & veggies
Want everything to be red – we use tomatoes, strawberries, red peppers
We do all of these things so that you enjoy the food at your event.
A menu like this doesn’t come from a list of pre-priced menus, but is just as easy for you. Once we know the feel for your event, your special requests, your dislikes and your budget we have a brainstorming session. The chef sits down and comes up with some ideas that he thinks will fit, we then send you those ideas. Then you let us know what you like and dislike about the chef’s menu, the evolution of your menu begins.
So don’t be afraid to ask for something special, because that is what we do.
